Salary Range: $17.75 - $26.7Hourly


This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At One Call, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $17.75 - $26.7Hourly

The Contract Support Specialist (CSS) is the front-line support for Provider Network Contracting. This position functions as a liaison, assisting internal and external parties with inquires by providing timely responses and/or connecting the party with the appropriate internal team. The CSS is responsible for performing a variety of front and back end contracting activities including, but not limited to, lead vetting, creating and assigning contracting activities, ensuring contract load completeness through quality assurance checks, cataloging contracting artifacts and supporting documents in our mastery repository. The CSS performs various contract administrative duties, such as, pulling contracts, verifying network status, and identifying covered products/services. Additional responsibilities include growing and maintaining relationships with providers and internal co-workers by following One Call core values: Think Big, Go Fast, Deliver Awe and Win Together.


Has general understanding of contracting principles and One Call products. Possesses basic knowledge of the health care industry. Follows and complies with all team policy and procedures. Demonstrates the ability to timely and accurately respond to inbound inquires. Works under close supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with management and senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience. Typically requires one year of related experience.


GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


PROVIDER NETWORK CONTRACTING SUPPORT CORE FUNCTIONS: MAKE IT HAPPEN (70%)




  • Able to appropriately manage legal, confidential, and highly sensitive documents.


  • Appropriately addresses provider requests via phone, email and/or fax and serves as the primary contact for inbound Provider Network requests.


  • Converts provider inquiries into contracting requests and assigns contracting efforts to the appropriate contract negotiator by product and region. (e.g., Network recruitment, terminations, Acquisitions, TIN and name changes, product/practitioner additions and removals etc.).


  • Responsible for following the lead vetting process and accurately converting leads into contracting efforts and/or disqualifying leads and communicating results back to the requestor.


  • Complete TSA (Total Spend Analysis), SRA (Single Referral Agreement), PADU (Preferred, Acceptable, Discouraged, Unacceptable) target contract loads and assigns to appropriate contract negotiator by product and region.


  • Completes the contracting post-implementation process and loads contracting artifacts into the respective repository(ies) pursuant to the documented policy and procedure.






  • Meets required quality standards, schedule adherence, team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators/TAT (Turn Around Time standards and project deadlines).


  • Contributes to an atmosphere in which timely and high-quality information flows smoothly across the organization.


  • Applies new approaches to improve processes, quality, and customer service.


  • Follows up with others to ensure agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.




INTERNAL SUPPORT: ENGAGE OTHERS (30%)




  • Support internal Sales and Product initiatives to onboard new customers and/or launch new product(s)/service(s) through supporting Provider Network Contracting's network development and retention efforts.

  • Collaborate with Provider Network Contracting to understand and help solution operational challenges and network deficiencies through support of network development and retention.

  • Prioritize implementations in support of Provider Network Contracting, Account Management, Physician Sales, and Strategic Partner Solutions on significant revenue generating opportunities.

  • Contribute to the success of Provider Network Contracting, Provider Engagement, Credentialing, and Provider Data Management Teams by assisting in special projects and supporting provider re-education.



EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:




  • Associates degree (A.S. or A.A.) or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.





GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:




  • General knowledge of the workers compensation industry.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).


  • Excellent problem solving, time management, and work prioritization skills.

  • Self-starter with experience handling high work volume and multiple projects.
