Job Description:


The Analyst, Change and Release will coordinate, administer, plan, and manage the Change and Release Management process across the organization. Responsibilities include managing service transition, change, and release activities to ensure thorough and agile processes, preventing unplanned service disruptions. The role involves working with various managers and stakeholders to ensure business changes do not conflict with IT changes and releases. Additionally, the analyst will lead small projects, provide extensive reporting, and ensure effective project transfer to Service Operations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Chair and represent the team in service readiness reviews.


• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.


• Ensure plans/policies are in place for all agreed services.


• Track data and provide management reporting.


• Plan and coordinate changes and releases in production and non-production environments.


• Perform risk and business impact assessments on planned changes and releases.


• Manage a release schedule and forward schedule of change.


• Ensure planned software releases and patches are delivered as scheduled.


• Gather details on changes and their business impact.


• Manage interactions with governance and control areas.


• Act as liaison between business units/stakeholders and IT/Technology teams.


• Coordinate and run Change Advisory Board meetings.


• Provide training materials and coordinate training for business stakeholders.


• Produce weekly change/release dashboards and reports.


• Collaborate with IT Managers to manage the service dependency matrix.


• Support Information Security & Governance by updating the risk register.


• Participate in administering and implementing security controls.


• Foster a culture of compliance and adherence to documented processes.


• Facilitate meetings and document minutes, barriers, blockers, and action items.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.


• 3 years' experience in change, release, and project management.


• ITIL Foundation certification.


• Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

• Knowledge or certification of ITIL v4.


• Experience in technology-related environments.


• Some experience in the healthcare industry.

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work with all project levels and act as a liaison.


• Troubleshoot complex problems and mitigate conflict.


• Familiarity with IT/technical terminology and the ITIL framework.


• Technical knowledge of hardware and software infrastructure.


• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Process (SDLC).


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.


• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.


• Ability to make independent decisions with limited information.


• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.


• Ability to provide constructive feedback.
