A Day in the Life

As a Medical Device Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly in a cleanroom environment. Working under moderate supervision, you will assemble medical devices according to good manufacturing practices, manufacturing flow, specific standard operating, and safety procedures.

We have openings on the A shift (5:30 am - 5:42 pm. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Assemble medical devices according to the validated procedure

  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions

  • Comply with all Controlled Environment Area (CEA) / Cleanroom / FAB protocol, including personal hygiene, gowning procedures, and safety procedures

  • Ensure continuous flow of work in process (wafers / batteries / device)

  • Perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications

  • Accurately enter data into tracking system

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a manner that is conducive to a positive work environment

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required

NICE TO HAVE: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Previous manufacturing/production experience

  • Experience working in a clean room environment

  • Experience with low and high-power microscopes

  • Semiconductor and Wafer Fab experience in the following areas: Photolithography, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, CVD, Metrology, Laser Bonding, Laser Marking

  • Surface Mount experience in component attach

  • Final Device experience: Final Test, Device Singulation, Device Shaping, Leak testing

  • Experience and knowledge working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$37,200.00 - $55,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $19.00 per hour. The base rate is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
