Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a dynamic Construction Project Manager to lead the success of its construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulously tracking schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Construction Project Manager will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors/consultants to implement construction plans. This role is integral to the daily execution of Supermicro's office development strategy, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Oversee general contractors and vendors, ensuring integration with internal partners for timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Implement globally applicable solutions for datacenter projects.
  • Facilitate decision-making for solutions, schedules, and change management.
  • Use influence and negotiation skills to recommend solutions.
  • Regularly review costs, KPIs, invoices, and process/policy communications.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for project development and delivery.
  • Develop, manage, and report on safety, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Hold direct fiscal responsibility for the project budget.
  • Oversee vendor performance by daily site walks.
  • Prepare RFPs, PERs, and project approval documents.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in office building, manufacturing facilities, data center construction or related construction management of large-scale projects in the technology industry.
  • Deep knowledge of land acquisition, zoning, environmental regulations, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, adept at influencing and inspiring stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct detailed market and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage intricate projects and lead cross-functional teams, consistently delivering results on schedule and within budget.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural).
  • Certified as a Professional Engineer (PE), LEED, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.

Salary Range

$99,000 - $123,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
