Maintenance Technician (Weekends) at McKesson in Columbus, Ohio

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and operations maintenance for all equipment used in the Distribution center environment.
  
  


• Supports maintenance staff by performing maintenance duties such as conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction
  
  


• Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training.
  
  


• Follow the PM maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
  
  


• Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manual.
  
  


• Improve quality and efficiency on the production floor.
  
  


• Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs
  
  

Compensation Range: 18.32 - 24.42 - 30.53 USD Hourly+ $2.00 Shift Differential.



Shifts Details: Weekend Shift - Friday - Monday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, or until complete. Applicants must be flexible with work hours and days, including holidays and short-notice call-ins

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of related experience
  
  

Critical Skills:

• At least 1+ years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.
  
  


• Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and replace them.
  
  


• 1+ years of experience with conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction.
  
  


• 1+ years of experience with voltage and AC/DC circuitry and troubleshooting
  
  


• 1+ years of experience with electrical schematics
  
  


• 1+ years of experience with aligning bearings, shafts, and drives
  
  


• 1+ years of experience with tension, belts, and chains
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is desired.
  
  


• Windows XP/Windows 7 and work order experience is preferred
  
  


• Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations.
  
  


• Ability to communicate effectively between facilities team, vendors, operations, and IT.
  
  

Education:

• Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• 100% standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
  
  


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
