Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Contract Specialist in Fairfield, CA.

Summary:
The Contract Specialist will be supporting the existing Contracts team with payor/provider contract analysis, guidance, and documentation. A large portion of day-to-day duties will be reconciling the existing pipeline acquired recently equating to approximately 300,000 new providers and members now in network- a continuous process.

Duties Include:

• Initiating contract negotiations, Letters of Agreement (LOA's)


• Supporting existing Contract Specialist team members and working through existing pipeline of contracts


• Contract review, execution, negotiation, etc.


• Responding to requests from external providers via phone or written correspondence

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree; MCP is a bonus


• Healthcare experience


• Understanding the basics/foundation of contract processing, response, and general support


• Basic computer proficiency (email, Excel, Word, etc.)


• Strong attention to detail


• Strong communication skills


• Hard working


• Excellent Customer Service skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Contraxx


• Experience with Sharepoint


• Background in managed care platform

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
