Senior Developer - AWS Cloud Systems at Kforce Inc in Boston, Massachusetts

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a leading investment firm located in Boston, MA, has critical role available for a Senior Cloud Developer. This is a direct hire/perm role. The work will focus on development for specialty investment management cloud applications. Tech stack is AWS, RDS, Lamda, SNS, SQS, EKS/Fargate configuration, Docker, Python & Javascript, Terraform. The Senior Developer will work with the best in the industry, on a global scale, developing front end and back end applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science


• Extensive experience in full stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies


• Solid command of software design & architectural patterns


• Must possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills


• Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements


• Experience designing and implementing high quality web based user interfaces is a plus

Experience with:

• AWS Native services including RDS, Lamda, SNS, SQS


• AWS EKS/Fargate configuration


• Docker: Python & Javascript; Terraform


• React/Redux or similar front end web development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
