Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Tax Support Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• The Tax Support Analyst will assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns


• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the tax software program used by the company


• Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of the tax software


• Support the tax team in audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities


• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation


• The Tax Support Analyst will collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting


• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax compliance and efficiency


• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to the team

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
