Summary

The Principal Consultant II role is responsible for assessing, developing and delivering client solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations; managing the overall quality of the consulting network; and assisting to identify new business opportunities. Key responsibilities and competencies include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver leadership and organizational development solutions, including assessment, development and coaching around Advancing Women Leaders, Inclusion and Purposeful Leadership
  • Deliver facilitated workshops and other development solutions, in person and virtually, to client organizations
  • Manage multiple, large-scale and complex client projects simultaneously
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Drive consulting team quality metrics ensuring excellent customer experience, as measured by consultant training and preparedness; client satisfaction; and NPS
  • Participate in product development and enhancement initiatives to advance Linkage’s program offerings as a content advisor sharing classroom expertise.
  • Pursue business development opportunities in partnership with Directors of Strategic Accounts to generate, advance, and close sales opportunities and grow assigned accounts
  • Pursue opportunities to build and strengthen the Linkage brand

Education & Experience Requirements

  • BA required, master’s preferred
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience

  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational development expertise, targeted at high-potential senior managers up to executives
  • Proven facilitation and presentation skills to all levels of leadership
  • Strong consultative selling/business development skills
  • Program design experience helpful
  • Individual and team coaching
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, especially with senior executives, HR, and business line leaders and buyers
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles
  • High energy with ability to work independently
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to high-pressure client demands
  • Ability to change focus quickly and easily
  • Strong business acumen

Physical Requirements

  • May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry and move light to medium weight. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information.
  • Moderate lifting is required. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to constantly move objects.

Work Environment

  • Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
