Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Capture Manager with 15+ years of demonstrated success in leading capture efforts and acquisition management. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of the full life cycle of government contracting and is skilled in driving new business opportunities from identification through proposal submission, leveraging a strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and the programmatic and technical needs of clients.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end capture efforts for large, strategic opportunities, including shaping, positioning, and proposal development.

- Develop and execute capture strategies, competitive assessments, and pricing to increase win probability.

- Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and market trends to inform decision-making on pursuit/no-pursuit recommendations.

- Collaborate with business development, solution architects, and proposal teams to craft compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals.

- Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally, including with teaming partners, clients, and government officials.

- Oversee and ensure compliance with proposal submission deadlines and federal acquisition guidelines.

- Drive client engagement through regular communication and relationship-building activities.

- Assess and mitigate risks throughout the capture process.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior capture professionals and business development teams.



Qualifications

- 15+ years of relevant experience in capture management, full lifecycle acquisition, and federal contracting.

- In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Health and Human Services Acquisition Regulations (HHSAR).

- Strong understanding of full acquisition life cycle, from requirements analysis and budgeting through contract closeout.

- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with federal clients and teaming partners.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex capture efforts.

- Strong business acumen, including understanding of financial modeling, pricing strategies, and market research.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field (Master's preferred).

- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred but not required.
