As a Scheduling Coordinator, your tasks will include:
Overseeing scheduling phone queue and call transfers, arranging patient appointments, updating demographic data, and notifying patients of schedule changes
Facilitating appointments with the Patient Benefits Coordinator
Managing scheduling work queues, conducting outgoing registry calls, and supporting other Front Office roles as required
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
One year's experience working in a call center, scheduling appointments, and clerical work in a healthcare environment is preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required at a level 9 for bilingual differential pay
Ability to prioritize work and handle various tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional manner
Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
Basic knowledge of the Epic systems is preferred
Basic proficiency in Word and Excel
