We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. This role supports the accounting department in ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts
Maintain financial records, updating and verifying financial data
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform data entry for financial transactions, invoices, and vouchers
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Assist with payroll and tax filings as needed
Support audits by providing relevant financial documentation
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred
1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
