Job Description:

Now Hiring: Customer Service Representative for a growing manufacturing company in south Minneapolis!


Details:

• Pay range: $21-$23/hr - maybe higher for manufacturing customer service experience


• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm


• Location: 100% in office in Minneapolis (free parking)


• Type: temp to hire on permanent

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  25%: Schedule customer orders with production and ensure order entry accuracy.


• 
  5%: Handle customer phone calls, addressing questions or concerns about their orders.


• 
  10%: Act as a backup for the Order Processor when they are unavailable, managing tasks like creating item numbers, routing orders, and entering customer order details into manufacturing software.


• 
  45%: Respond to emails and faxes about order status or required changes, updating customer accounts in real time.


• 
  5%: Generate reports to track deliveries and identify any late orders.


• 
  10%: Assist other office staff with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of in-office customer service experience is required.


• Experience with any order entry system is a plus.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.

  • Number of weeks remaining in the current benefit year divided by 52 times year 2's PTO bank (128 hours) or 48 hours, whichever is more.
    
    
    • Example: Hired 2/19/2024 = weeks left in the current benefit year 20 / 52 = 0.384616 x 128 = 46 hours. Minimum hours = 48 hours so would receive 48 hours.
