JOB TITLE: SharePoint Developer Support (Temporary)

POSITION NUMBER: 2309-18949 -SPD

POSITION LOCATION: Atlanta, GA, USA

ANTICIPATED START DATE: Two weeks after candidate identification

TRAVEL: As required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position


ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a temporary employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) office of the Director, at the CDC, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA, to provide technical support services to advance NCIPC and CDC's public health mission, as well as the division's portfolio of programs.


SCOPE OF WORK


The SharePoint Developer will provide program and operations support across NCIPC operations and ASPIRE SharePoint sites.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Partnership engagement, communication and support.
  • Construct software solutions for Management and Operations business needs, which may include the development of SharePoint sites, subsites, or pages; Power Apps; and Power BI dashboards.
  • Review, analyze, code, and/or modify software application systems.
  • Consult with users to identify operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
  • Encode, test, debug and document programs.
  • Provide technical support to the users of business systems applications.
  • Assist in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications.
  • Develop SharePoint sites and/or pages in approved content management system.
  • Assist with 508 compliance of web products.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to improve the ASPIRE SharePoint site.


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education and Experience:

  • Master of Public Health (MPH) with emphasis on communication or Bachelor of Science or master's in communications, Computer Science with significant experience developing websites and health/science content.

Required:

  • 3-5 years' work experience in SharePoint Development and public health.
  • 1-3 years' work experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Development skills with various web site development tools such as Cascade, SharePoint and Infopath development.
  • Experience with coding in HTML, JavaScript, XML, and CSS.
  • Experience in creating web-based workflows and forms.
  • Knowledge of web design and site implementation.
  • Knowledge using various tools for reporting and analysis of website statistics.
  • Excellent organizational, intrapersonal, writing and speaking skills for working with an interdisciplinary team including scientific and non-scientific collaborators.
  • Experience preparing written documents; documenting processes and workflows.
  • Experience with Web Content Management System (WCMS).
  • Expert knowledge of CDC's web application environment.

Desirable:

  • Strong background in data and document management.
  • Experience in data systems.

Language Skills:

  • The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
