Reporting to the VP Sales, Mass Markets with a dotted line to Senior Account Manager, the Junior Key Account Manager – Mass Markets will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact with existing partner accounts answering queries and increasing client satisfaction; Using communication skills to identify and address partners’ needs while representing Symmetry Energy Solutions in a positive way while contributing to building profitable, long-term relationships.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities
Helping to implement plans aimed at growing our commercial partners and customers
Providing support to partners & customers
Data Processing Efficiency
Providing accurate & detailed information to partners/customers and ensuring that they are satisfied
Building rapport with partners
Giving regular reports to manager
Understanding the company’s products or services to enhance client satisfaction
Communicating effectively with partners/customers/manager
Coordinating with executives on plans
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certification/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Previous customer service experience preferred
Experience as a Junior Account Manager or relevant Sales experience preferred
Prior experience in the natural gas industry strongly preferred
Familiarity with CRM program (Excelergy) preferred
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics
Vast understanding of sales principles, strong negotiation and presentation skills required
Strong time management skills required
High degree of professionalism required
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
Physical Requirements
Able to visually perceive information on a personal computer monitor or laptop screen for extended periods of time.
Capable of operating a personal computer, whether it is a desktop or laptop, for extended periods of time to create, compose, and review documents and spreadsheets.
Competent in operating office equipment, including but not limited to telephones, mobile phones, photocopiers, scanners, and calculators.
Able to reach, grasp, and manipulate items necessary to perform job tasks.
Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time as required by job responsibilities.
Able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Working Conditions
Able to work in a fast-paced office environment with a high-volume workload, including the possibility of working beyond standard hours and on nights/weekends to meet deadlines.
Able to work indoors, in an office environment, regardless of whether it is an open office, cubicle or private office.
Able to travel occasionally, possibly overnight, and to attend meetings and conferences, when required.
