A Day in the Life
One of our key products in our Medtronic portfolio is "Mojabe". The role of this position is essential for the successful launch of "Mojabe." Their expertise in system design, process optimization, and quality control will ensure that the product is manufactured efficiently, meets quality standards, and is delivered on time. By investing in this position, we can achieve cost savings, enhance productivity, and ultimately ensure the success of "Mojabe" in the market.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.


• May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.


• Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.


• On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.


• May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Nice To Have:

• Basic knowledge with tools such as time studies, work sampling, line balancing, and simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8) for optimizing manufacturing processes.


• Skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and assessment, are beneficial.


• Deep expertise in Lean methodologies, with hands-on experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and waste reduction strategies to streamline production and improve efficiency in compliance with industry standards.


• Familiarity with CAD software is important for designing and analyzing systems.


• Understanding the psychology of human productivity and error can help in designing efficient systems.


• Required to support 8 and 12 hours shift configurations (1, 2, 3, A, B, C, D).


• Able to work extended hours as required.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• 
  Requires a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, with 0 years of experience required.
