Job Description:

PriceWalgren division of Koch Finishing Systems is seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the loading and unloading of materials on our paint line, with opportunities to learn the art of industrial painting. In addition to assisting with painting operations, you will serve as a key backup for shipping, receiving, and inventory control tasks, ensuring smooth operations across departments. Essential Functions


Shipping/Receiving:

• Assist in the loading of shipments
• Assist in the unloading of deliveries and ensure all items are received into inventory
• Review incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems and components.

Paint Line Support:

• Assist in the loading, unloading, preparation of materials, and painting.
• Follow work orders to determine proper paint colors and finish types
• Ensure all painter components meet company quality standards and industry regulations.

General Duties:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers, management, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Operate a forklift

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or degree in electrical technology is preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Experience with painting
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Basic understanding of mechanical steel systems.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including standing for extended periods.
