Sanitation Labor Weekday: 10:00pm - 7:00am

General Job Description:


This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.



Tasks:


Sanitors will support the nightly cleaning operation for a Tyson Foods production facility.

• Breaking down and reassembling production equipment


• Moving Production Floor Equipment, Tables, and Bins to accomodate cleaning process.


• Pressure Washing Production Lines


• Soap and Scrub Equipment


• Sweeping/Squeegee Floors

• Other tasks include standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching.


• Candidate must be willing to lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 - 50 pounds).


• Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed and must be willing and able to stand for 8 - 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.

Requirements:


Prior experience is not required. Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.




Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
