I am working with a private island club located on Useppa Island, which is situated off the southwest coast of Florida, near Fort Myers and Pine Island. The club offers a range of amenities and activities for its members and guests. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Director to lead and oversee all food and beverage operations. This unique opportunity offers a chance to work in a luxurious environment, managing a team that services both the island's hotel and the exclusive residential community. Relocation to the Island is required for this role. Accommodations will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, poolside, and in-room dining.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and oversee chefs, waitstaff, and support staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
Menu Development: Work with the Executive Chef to design innovative menus using local and seasonal ingredients.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all offerings meet luxury standards in quality, presentation, and service.
Budget Management: Oversee food and beverage budget, inventory control, cost management, and financial reporting.
Guest Experience: Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure a personalized dining experience.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute special events and themed nights with seamless coordination.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations for a safe environment.
