Purpose Statement: At No Longer Bound (NLB), we are passionate about giving excellent care to our residents in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and compassionate. For a full year, No Longer Bound provides 24/7 residential care for men seeking help for their drug or alcohol addiction. The Per Diem Nurse is responsible for providing evidenced-based, research-supported nursing care to men in the residential treatment program of NLB when the full-time Nurse is unavailable. The Per Diem Nurse is responsible for documentation of services provided consistent with state and licensing standards. The Per Diem Nurse reports to the Program Director. The ideal candidate is a licensed Nurse who is driven by a desire to see lives changed, who is excited about the intersection of faith and clinical service, and who is a flexible schedule and is able to fill the staffing gaps as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing residents' physical needs and developing individualized care plans
Administer medication(s) as directed by a physician
Providing medical direction to patients and families (when needed)
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
Documenting patient progress and updating care plans as needed
Ensure that the medical department is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Administer medical interviews for potential admissions as needed
