The Position
We are looking for enthusiastic and hard working Dispensary Budtenders & Receptionists to join the CANA team at our location in New Bedford, MA. The Dispensary Budtender & Receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we deliver a legendary customer experience every time, and assists with sales and product knowledge at our upscale dispensary. This position is responsible for maintaining high quality customer service while ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations and company standards. Our Dispensary Budtenders & Receptionists are self motivated service ambassadors. The role requires excellent customer service qualities, great energy and exemplary communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and proficiently handle cash and digital sales transactions utilizing our point of sale system
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while monitoring and achieving sales goals
Educates customers on all varieties of cannabis and cannabis-infused products in the store
Support and contribute to the overall sales goals of the facility
Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company standard practices and procedures
Ensure accurate information is recorded for all customer registration, sales and preferences
Maintain a constant stream of alertness to ensure the highest standards of safety for customers, fellow employees, products and the facility
Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
Assist customers in making the right product choices by developing and maintaining product knowledge and how different methods of consumption affect our customers
Stocking/restocking product
Attend staff meetings as scheduled
Maintain a clean and organized store
Additional duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience (retail/hospitality)
Great interpersonal/communication skills/listening skills
Detail-oriented
Have genuine and positive energy
Excellent work ethic, reliability and professionalism
Cannabis experience, preferred
Additional Requirements:
Minimum of 21 years of age
Possess valid driver's license or state ID
Must pass any and all required background checks
Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Must be able to reach and twist/turn with hands and arms
Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
