The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will run every weekend and select school days from August 17 - October 27.. The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will provide a uniform shirt and Employee Handbook. This is a Seasonal Part-Time position. Duties: Report hazardous conditions, help lost children, and keep general order among patrons. Notify armed security when conditions are beyond control. Provide friendly and quality customer service to our patrons by answering and offering suggestions. Check weapons to ensure they are "peace-tied" and check IDs for age for alcohol purchases inside the park. Provide and maintain a positive, professional image. Handle minor customer complaints with understanding.Hand-stamping patrons to return as they are leaving, if they wish to return later in the day. Bag checks upon entering Faire Grounds Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess an ability to be assertive in their duties. Must possess ability to be customer-service oriented, friendly and motivated to provide necessary information and assistance to our valued patrons. Have steady transportation. Friendly and able to work well with others in fast-paced environment. Meet company grooming standards. Working Conditions: Requires working mostly outdoors in all weather conditions. Requires standing for long periods of time and lifting 20 lbs or more, bending, and walking. Maintain a professional attitude even during times of high stress.
