Job Description:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting operations including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and monthly closings for Launch CPA's (the Firm) clients. The Staff Accountant will support the Firm on all tasks pertaining to

its clients per guidance provided. All tasks are to be completed in a timely manner. The Staff Accountant will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

As a client-facing position, the Staff Accountant is expected to represent the Firm in a professional manner. The Staff Account will be responsive to the clients' needs and treat all clients and their staff with respect and sensitivity to diversity.

Scope of Supervision

Responsibilities include the following:

1. Keep clients' books in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

2. Assist with month-end closes

3. Assist with payroll and other related tasks such as quarterly and annual payroll tax filings

4. Process bills and receivables

5. Identify issues and resolve or raise to the supervisors

6. Calls with internal and external customers

7. Work on special projects and other duties as assigned

8. Prepare policies and procedures and training materials for clients and staff

9. Support the Firm by managing administrative functions including general email correspondences and memos, interfacing with clients, scheduling meetings, and staffing

10. Be well versed with QuickBooks Online and participate in trainings offered by Intuit

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

2. Working knowledge of our software, including but not limited to, Google Suite, Slack, Asana, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel, ADP, and Gusto

3. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

4. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

5. Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions

6. Great listener and attention to detail

7. Outstanding customer service skills
