Job Description:

Position Overview: As an OSP Project Manager I, you will oversee and manage multiple project teams delivering a range of contracted services to customers, including OSP Design FTTx, site acquisition, and construction services. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with policies and customer agreements. You will handle project coordination, documentation, and team management across various aspects of OSP programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for assigned contracts, ensuring a thorough understanding of SLAs and deliverables.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules based on defined parameters, ensuring alignment with financial plans.
  • Billing Oversight: Create billing templates for all billable items, coordinating with the invoicing team and OSP groups to ensure accurate billing to customers and subcontractors.
  • Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with the OSP Manager to develop a budget-compliant staffing plan.
  • Scoping Meetings: Organize and lead project scoping meetings to establish points of contact for permitting, engineering, and construction.
  • Resource Accountability: Ensure all resources provide timely updates and adhere to project schedules.
  • Program Onboarding: Schedule and conduct onboarding calls for new programs 30 days prior to market launch.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor invoicing processes.
  • Reporting: Develop and present status reports that clearly communicate project progress.
  • Information Management: Design and implement a repository system to manage project information effectively.
  • Quality and Improvement: Develop and monitor quality metrics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues with contractors, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Provide indirect oversight to Project Coordinators and, potentially, direct management to other team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant OSP experience or training, with previous experience as an OSP Project Coordinator preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under tight deadlines with strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of OSP management, including permitting processes and working with municipal agencies and utilities.
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capable of managing multiple construction sites and schedules.
  • Willingness to work long hours and in both office and outdoor settings.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous education, self-improvement, and industry awareness.
