We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator and Project Lead to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in both estimating project costs and managing the execution of excavation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Estimator/Project Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for excavation projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Analyze plans, specifications, and other project documents to provide accurate and competitive bids.
Collaborate with clients to understand project scope and tailor estimates to meet their needs.
Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
Maintain and update project schedules, documentation, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and project management within the excavation or construction industry required.
Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, and site development processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
