Chandler Insurance Managers, Inc. (CIMI) is an Oklahoma-based regional insurance brokerage specializing in the placement of inland marine, property, excess, pollution and other casualty coverages. CIMI is a sister company to National American Insurance Company (NAICO).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews accounts for acceptability. Requests additional information from agents.
Submits applications and supporting documentation to market(s) to obtain quotes.
Negotiates pricing from carriers to obtain best rate for insured/agent.
Binds accounts and provides instructions for issuance.
Identifies changes in renewal quotes year over year and advises agent.
Reviews and approves policies received from carriers to ensure issued correctly and to avoid E&O exposures.
Works closely with commercial insurance carriers and independent agents.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or 10 years of insurance agency experience.
Demonstrates integrity, optimism, ambition and a strong worth ethic.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and general computer systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Requires the ability to work in a quick paced environment.
Insurance agency experience preferred.
