Description
- Conduct orientation sessions for new hires, covering essential safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive safety training (fall protection, confined space, manlift etc.) at times this may need to be completed in the segments.
- Scan safety training documents to safety admin.
- Conduct swab drub screen for DFJV employees.
- Review and update training material as needed.
- Conduct weekly site visits with a safety professional as time allows to understand work being performed.
- Attend weekly safety meetings with the DFJV safety team.
- Stay updated on local, state and federal safety regulations including Cal Osha standards and industry best practices, update training as needed.
- Conduct safety assessments and audits to identify training needs and areas of improvement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments and observations, making adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
- Act as a safety advocate within the organization promoting a culture of safety and encouraging proactive safety measures among workers.
- Attend online training to obtain certifications and further safety knowledge.
