Job Description:

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records.

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate efficient recordkeeping processes.

  • Implement and maintain electronic medical records systems, with preference given to experience with PCC.

  • Train and educate staff on proper medical record documentation procedures and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of medical records processes into patient care workflows.

  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to medical records management.

  • Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in medical records management, with preference given to candidates with experience in PCC.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Health Information Management, or related field a plus!

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, with experience in PCC preferred.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical records management, including HIPAA regulations.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

  • RN or LPN, not required but a plus!

Pay: $23.00 - $34.00 per hour depending on experience and education.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
