Title: Chemical Process Technican
Pay: $26-36/hr
Shift: DAY 7:00am - 3:30pm
Location: Grapevine, TX
The Chemical Process Technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing and production of chemicals
and related products. They are responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring
production processes, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with safety
regulations. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to
work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing support to the
production team when questions arise or when the Director or Plant Manager are not available.

Clean, operate and maintain chemical processing equipment and machinery, including pumps, reactors, mixers, and other related equipment.
Manufacturing batches based on work orders.
Plan and perform batch set up and changeover processes.
Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficient and safe operations, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Conduct regular quality control checks on raw materials, intermediates, and final products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
Safely handle and properly dispose of regulated waste, wastewater, hazardous materials, etc.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
Collect and analyze samples during production for testing and analysis purposes.
Document and record production data, including batch records, operating parameters, and test results.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, chemists, and maintenance technicians, to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize production processes.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or certification in chemical technology or related field preferred.
Proven work experience as a Chemical Process Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, such as OSHA and EPA requirements, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions (e.g., standing for long periods, working in confined spaces).
Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as required.
Strong commitment to safety and adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
