IT Test Analyst at Horizontal Talent in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated IT Test Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the development and implementation of digital capabilities and customer experiences across various platforms. The successful candidate will be a key player in an agile product team, working closely with diverse cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test cases and validation procedures as established by the QA lead through each sprint cycle and production releases
- Document, raise, and triage defects uncovered during the sprint for prioritization and mitigation
- Regularly update the regression test suites following the regression approach led by the test lead
- Plan and execute production test activities to validate the overall site and checkout flows immediately following a production release
- Participate in requirement grooming and 3 amigo sessions, providing feedback and QA estimation sizing each sprint
- Report overall test prep and execution progress metrics/data to the QA Lead

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years in a QA Analyst Role with a focus on e-commerce, user experience, website testing
- 1 or more years of testing on a team that follows Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Expertise in mapping test cases to corresponding requirements and building out a requirement matrix
- Ability to take feedback/guidance as provided and complete key deliverables without supervisor oversight

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with third-party applications including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or other test management tools
- Experience working with third-party vendors and testing third party applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience
