Job Description:

We are seeking an SVP, Transformation Project Manager to join our team in New York.



What to expect:

• You will have a proven track record in leading large-scale global transformations, with a strong understanding of operations and modernization.


• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, overseeing and driving strategic global initiatives, including cost optimization, location strategies, Generative AI use cases, automation and digitization, and business process engineering.

We will count on you to:

• Identify and manage transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery within sce, budget, and timeline.


• Advance optimization strategy initiatives, including evaluating and optimizing workflows, the company's global footprint, and strategic growth strategies.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Guy Carpenter, including broking, analytics, operations, and technology to identify opportunities for operational improvements and drive process engineering and refinement initiatives.


• Design and distribute management reporting dashboards to ensure timely and thorough communication of progress.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, internal clients, and external partners.


• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.


• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in project management, operations, technology, and reinsurance, and apply relevant knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency.


• Partner with Technology team on new digital deployments, AI use cases and other modernization initiatives.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field


• 7+ years' experience as a transformation leader, project manager, strategic consulting or similar leadership role within the reinsurance or financial services industry.


• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation projects.


• Strong understanding of operations, technology, process engineering, modernization, and growth strategies, with the ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.


• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and senior executives in a highly matrixed, global environment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
