The position of Industrial Sales Director Industrial Products requires candidates with experience leading teams and creating solutions based sales results to manufacturers of Kitchen & Bath Cabinets, Store Fixtures, Commercial Furniture and Distributors of Interior Building Materials. The position has responsibility for driving profitable sales growth by developing sales talent and enhancing relationships with all Industrial OEM prospects, customers and distributors. The ideal leader will have proven solutions oriented sales experience, enthusiasm for our respective industries, financial acumen, team development and a passion for creating long term sales relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
In partnership with Sr. Leadership, hire, train supervise, evaluate and develop a geographically dispersed sales team.
Generate profitable sales on existing and new customers of over $125M per year through the development of regional sales strategies and business plans.
Partner with Product Teams to build targeted customer and prospect game plans that deliver beneficial solutions for the customer and Genesis Products.
Work with Product Teams to develop pricing strategy, analyze market information and make recommendations regarding value propositions, market penetration, competition, and new business opportunities.
Ensure the sales team is proficient in utilizing effective sales processes like value selling, CRM discipline, opportunitiesmanagement and sales reporting tools.
In partnership with the Marketing Team, oversee long and short-range sales and marketing strategies; including competitive analysis of market trends, identification of new market opportunities to ensure future sales building blocks and the creation as well as deployment of marketing assets to the marketplace.
Build relationships with critical leaders and organizations in the Kitchen Cabinet, Closet, Office Furniture and Distribution industries

This position will require excellent business acumen and judgment with the ability to translate strategy into executable tactics. In addition, you will possess the following skills and experience:
10 to 15 years of sales and sales management experience selling to the woodworking, residential furniture, store fixture, and building materials industries.
Experience in selling value-added products to OEM organizations
Strong executive presence and polish.
Persuasiveness and ability to close business.
Passion for being in the field, coaching sales teams and engaging strategically with customers and prospects is a must.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and motivational skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills for managing sales database tracking programs.
Preferred experience working inside OEM Residential Cabinet, Closet, Office Furniture and/or Building Material Distribution industries
Education: An undergraduate degree in business, engineering or related technical discipline. MBA preferred.
