Job Description:

Provide leadership at the enterprise level for the technical design of significant projects.



Essential Functions 



  • Provides leadership and initiative in the initiation and implementation of significant IT efforts, across all phases of the software development lifecycle. 

  • Works with a cross-functional team to facilitate and assist in the prioritization of projects, relationship of projects to the business needs, and communication of information across the enterprise. 

  • Analyzes business processes and it capabilities to recommend strategic and tactical solutions, and identifies cross-organizational impacts. 

  • Leads and/or assists in the identification of requirements and test scenarios. 

  • Coordinates project activities and consult across multiple projects and development initiatives. 

  • Provides mentoring for the development of those in less senior position.  

  •  Serve as an expert resource to advise other teams and recommend solutions to technical design problems.  

  •  Lead and/or assist in resolution of complex production problems.  

  • Mentor development in less senior positions.  

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Documented experience and success working across Opco and/or Regional boundaries to develop Board-level strategies and plans.  

  • Strong communication skills representing strategies, concepts, processes and dependencies via textual and graphical means for Executive and Senior VP level visibility.  

  • Documented experience and success collaborating across multiple international geographies and/or Opcos to align teams with common strategies, processes and tactics.  

  • Experience operating in a SAFe/Agile team with understanding of the impacts of changes in software development methodologies on Business and IT organizations.  

  • Documented success managing enterprise projects and associated dependencies. 

  • Solid understanding over Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations  

  • Experience with PCF and CloudOps deployment environment 



Domicile Information:  This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.  



Minimum Education


Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field, and/or equivalent.



Minimum Experience


Requires five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


Skilled at leading/assisting In the resolution of complex production problems.

Pay Transparency:
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.



Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
