The Manager, Supply Planning will be responsible for executing YETI's strategy in operational excellence. This individual is pivotal in managing the planning team to meeting their KPIs and making us simpler to do business with. This role will also closely liaison with the Inventory Control, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Category, and IT teams. The role will also be a key contributor to the SIOP process and align closely with functional leaders to address demand and/or supply risks. This role is looking for a leader that can make recommendations based on collaborative and fact-based data and analysis.

We are being challenged to meet ever increasing quick delivery expectations, while at the same time aggressively expanding our product portfolio and our business internationally. We are looking for a proven leader who can lead our Supply Planning and Purchasing functions and enable YETI to meet this increased complexity and challenge.
Responsibilities:
Planning
Overall responsibility for global inventory health and readiness across product category
Manages inventory levels, identifies exceptions, and build solutions for supply variances
Leads a team of Supply Planners/Buyers to achieve business objectives
Facilitates planning meetings with key Supply Chain partners to include manufacturing vendors, Demand, Procurement, Allocation, Logistics, Distribution and Operations Finance
Aligns supply plan with Product, Category and Commercial business partners following monthly demand revisions
Consistently evaluates planning process to improve inventory positions and effectively manage to financial budgets
Executes financial and quantitative analyses to answer critical supply questions, utilizes results to independently make data driven recommendations and decisions
Evaluate performance through tracking of key metrics, maintain dashboard of results and intended targets
Mentors, coaches, and develops his/her team to increase functional skills and help achieve individual career goals
Supports corporate compliance programs through quarterly assessments
Assist in resolving the exceptions identified within the forecasts and inventory that are escalated
Provides direction to Planners on order exceptions that need escalation or cross functional team assistance
Sponsors, reviews and approves all system enhancements & continuous improvements identified by the Planners, IT/MES
Drives improvements to the supply planning processes
Analysis and Reporting
Reviews all data and material planners will use for weekly planning meetings
Develops, maintains and reports all planning KPI's for product category
Facilitates weekly planning meetings with Inventory Control and Procurement
Coordinates cross functional escalations necessary to resolve issues or exceptions
Interacts frequently with Sr. Business Leaders and key stakeholders
Drives necessary collaboration with Procurement, Operations, Sales, Finance and Categories
Escalates related forecasting issues that impact planning
Information Technology
Work with IT/SAP Teams developing and improving reports that aid in managing planning
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Math, Finance, or comparable field
At least 6 years' experience in forecasting, supply planning, production planning, or similar Supply Chain role
At least 4 years of leadership experience
Experience in multi-tier distribution network and global supply chain
Extensive data analysis skills using excel, and Access. SQL skills preferred.
Strong project management and organizational skills with proven experience managing large scale projects
Extensive SAP/IBP skills
Demonstrated strong analytical skills
Strong Attention to detail
Strong facilitation and meeting management skills
Ability to summarize and communicate data effectively
Ability to manage conflict
Lean / Continuous Improvement experience is desired
