RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Cost Accountant in Andover, Massachusetts (MA).

Summary:
This client is a million-dollar manufacturing company. Duties:

• Ensure inventories are properly valued, including physical inventories and reconciliation of all Supplier Inventory


• The Senior Cost Accountant will oversee accounting functions


• Preparing detailed cost analysis


• Provide insights to management for decision-making


• Understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis.


• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts


• Cost Monitoring


• Participate in month-end close


• Reconcile various inventory accounts


• The Senior Cost Accountant will conduct audits


• Work closely with operations, finance and other departments to facilitate cross-functional communication and enhance cost control measures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field


• Experience with managing cycle count programs, and conducting physical inventories


• AP Audits and SAP experience


• AR experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
