POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Redmond-based client is looking for RF Test Engineer for a hybrid-based position in San Francisco, California. (3 days onsite, 2 days remote/WFH.)

The main function of a Software Test Engineer is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.



Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
  • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.


Qualifications

  • Must have 8-10 years of work experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience Wifi/BT/Signal measurements (what’s actually measured with the equipment)
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with L1-L5, Electrical signal loss, S Parameters.
  • Must have 3-4 years of experience withPython or PowerShell Scripting language experience (someone who can go through the set-up and make it something we can deploy).
  • Should have software testing experience.
  • Should have experiencewriting test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports.
  • Should have ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing.
  • Should have an associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

  • A competitive pay range of $70-$72/hr (depending on experience).
