Systems Engineer

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze cyber-attack surfaces, implementing relevant cybersecurity controls for MFC products.


• Perform cybersecurity maintenance, including continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and system hardening.


• Provide cybersecurity oversight to Systems and Software teams, preparing necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs).


• Design and implement embedded System Security Engineering (SSE) processes for Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems.


• Assess and mitigate security threats and risks throughout the weapon system development lifecycle.


• Validate and verify system security requirements, addressing weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and threats.

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience; or Master's Degree.


• 
  Active Secret Clearance required.


• 3-5 years of experience in:
  
  
  • Cybersecurity
  
  
  • Systems Security
  
  
  • Systems Analysis & Design
  
  
  • Familiarity with STIGs and System Hardening
  
  
  • Experience with cyber tools (Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS)
  
  
  
  


• 
  Desired Experience:
  
  
  
  
  
  • 3-5 years of Cybersecurity Engineering and Systems Engineering experience.
  
  
  • Experience with systems development and SOP/process creation.
