Systems Engineer

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Analyze cyber-attack surfaces and implement cybersecurity controls for Missile and Fire Control (MFC) products.


• Perform cybersecurity maintenance, including monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening.


• Provide cybersecurity oversight to Systems and Software teams, ensuring documentation and artifacts support and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) for MFC products.


• Design and implement embedded System Security Engineering (SSE) solutions for DoD weapon systems.


• Assess and mitigate system security risks throughout the weapon system lifecycle.


• Validate and verify system security requirements and analyze weaknesses and vulnerabilities in product designs.

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree.


• 
  Active Secret Clearance required.


• 3-5 years of experience in:
  
  
  • Cybersecurity for embedded systems
  
  
  • Systems Security, Analysis, and Design
  
  
  • Familiarity with STIGs and system hardening
  
  
  • Cyber tools (Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS)
  
  
  • Software Assurance Tools (SAST/DAST)
  
  
  
  


• 
  Desired Experience:
  
  
  
  
  
  • 3-5 years in Cybersecurity Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Software Engineering.
  
  
  • Experience in systems development and SOP/process creation.
