Axogen is hiring for a Marketing Communications Intern in Tampa, FL!



Summary of the Marketing Communications Internship


We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Marketing Communications team at Axogen. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance for a dynamic, professional, hands-on experience. The intern will get a unique look into the benefits of working within a smaller biomedical company; high visibility within the company and exposure to a broad range of communication activities. This internship duration is for a single semester (Spring 2025), with the option to extend up to 2 additional semesters if the candidate is a good fit for the role. Ideally, the candidate can commit approximately 20 hours/week in the Tampa office. They will report directly to the Marketing Review Specialist, with oversight from the Senior Content Strategy Manager.


Requirements of the Marketing Communications Internship

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to communications or healthcare communications.
• Ability to commit 20 hours per week during the Spring 2025 semester in the Tampa office; specific days/hours will be based on the student's class schedule
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Detail oriented
• MS Office Suite proficiency

Project Details

• Uploading claims, references, and promotional content into the Veeva PromoMats Promotional Review System
• Tagging promotional content with relevant references in Veeva PromoMats
• Managing content through the review and approval process in Veeva PromoMats
• QA'ing content and working with internal stakeholders to revise and finalize content before content enters review process
• Assisting with planning, creation, QA of social content
• Assisting with planning, creating, QA of email content
• Assisting with designing presentation slides as needed

Compensation


The anticipated base wage for this position is $18/hr for an undergrad student and $20/hr for a grad student. In addition to the base hourly rate, there may be a housing stipend available based on location. Interns who are 21 years of age or older are eligible for 401K.

Axogen is on a hybrid work schedule for some of our positions based out of our headquarters in Florida, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The hybrid work schedule does not include sales or facilities in Ohio or Texas.
