Accounting Manager - Direct Hire

In this exciting role, you'll:



  • Supervise and develop a team of Senior Accountants

  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and capital asset reconciliations

  • Manage and review personal property tax filings and audits

  • Oversee sales and use tax filings and audits

  • Coordinate quarterly income tax provisions and annual corporate tax returns

  • Lead month-end close activities, including GL entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Prepare audit schedules and financial analyses

  • Cross-train on other accounting functions as needed




You'll be a great fit if you have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)

  • Experience with fixed asset accounting and tax-related tasks


Preferred Skills:



  • CPA, CMA, or MBA

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar fixed asset systems

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
