Our recruiting firm is partnered with a well-known and respected nonprofit in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to find them a Junior Accountant with the desire to grow within a mission-driven organization.
This is a temp to hire position and is therefore best suited for someone not currently working. The organization does offer a full scope of benefits once a candidate converts to permanent including a generous holiday and PTO schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations
AP/AR transactions
Prepare and post required journal entries
Organize supporting documentation for financial statements
Support month-end, year-end, audit and board presentations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field highly preferred
1-3 years of accounting clerk work experience handling AP/AR duties
Accounting software as well as Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale full-time
