ABOUT THE JOB



Business Intelligence plays an integral role at Marathon Health. We believe in an advanced data driven strategy integrating Analytics, Business Intelligence tools and Report Delivery to deliver best in class healthcare services to our patient and provider population. As the Data/Reporting Analyst, you will join an innovative team that is passionate about developing reporting and analytics while identifying areas of impactability and enhancing/optimizing our internal/external customer experience. In this role, you will collaboratively work with stakeholders to identify key informatics, measures and reporting requirements based on medical/prescription claims, demographics, clinical data, and more. With our consultative approach to our analytics strategy, you will have the ability to impact our population's health and spend through analytics and reporting.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform deep dive analysis to effectively translate broad data sets into actionable results, present findings, and recommendations

  • Work collaboratively with client success team, clients, consultants, etc.; dedicated to a specific geographic market across our book of business

  • Define, create, document and implement ad-hoc reports/analytics

  • Experience in data requirement elicitation, validation, reporting design, and quality assurance

  • Utilize existing reporting utilities to optimize internal/external customer analytics and strategy

  • Deliver key reports and dashboards with interpretation; contribute to the development of hypotheses and actions and communicate data findings effectively to individuals and groups

  • Work directly with external and internal clients to gather and analyze requirements and translate into the design of applications, reports or other required output

  • Ability to identify multiple solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability

  • Ability to work as an analytical, problem solver who can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills to work across functions, with internal leadership, and external customers.

  • Be knowledgeable in the healthcare industry and/or knowledge of HIPAA privacy and information technology security standards with the ability to apply to information as required




QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelors' degree in business management, statistics, mathematics, information systems, healthcare informatics, computer science and / or 4+ years of relevant experience. Strong background in mathematics, statistics and data analytics. 3+ years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting design and presentation. Querying skills and understanding of relational databases / data structure, Data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, OLAP methodologies, and business intelligence concepts / applications (Salesforce.com / Tableau / Snowflake / SQL).

  • Experience working with customers and collaborating on solutions

  • Quality oriented, innovative, analytical, steadfast, and efficient




Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000/yr



The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level.
