Summer Help \/ Part Time - Laborer at Martin Marietta Materials in CLOVERDALE, Indiana

Job Description:

Martin Mariettais currently hiring for a Part time Laborer for our Fort. Calhoun mine location. This role will be responsible forperforming and maintaining utility work and heavy equipment operations at our mine site.



Essential Functions

• Must be able to or willing to learn to operate safely all mobile equipment, including: haul truck, motor grader, water truck, loader and crane.


• Assist in plant repairs and clean-up.


• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on equipment.


• Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment. Report needed repairs to shop personnel.


• Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment.


• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations.


• Perform duties with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED


• Previous experience in aggregate plant maintenance, labor, and operating heavy, off-road construction equipment is preferred


• Must be able to work extended shifts and weekends


• Bi-lingual is a plus
