What You'll Be Doing: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (10-20) and workstations (30-40), ensuring they comply with security standards. Administer and harden systems using DISA STIG guidelines and perform regular updates and patch management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with servers, workstations, and network devices (Cisco/Juniper switches, routers, etc.), ensuring smooth operation. Perform regular backups and implement Disaster Recovery Procedures to ensure data and system integrity. Maintain inventory of all hardware and software. Support network infrastructure, ensuring all networking equipment is optimized for performance. Collaborate with IT security specialists to ensure systems meet all required security policies and standards. Conduct training for users on new systems and stay ahead of future technology needs. Track and apply security patches for servers, workstations, and network devices.
What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Server administration (SQL Server, Microsoft Server 2016, domain controllers). Proficient in system backups, configuration, and restoration. Knowledge of ICS systems and cybersecurity standards. Must hold or be able to obtain an IAT Level II Certification (or higher), as required by DoDM 8140.03. Ability to handle network troubleshooting and maintain system security in compliance with DoD standards.
