Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:   

- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner 

- Reads and interprets blueprints 

- Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements 

- Mechanically inclined and confident using basic hand tools. 

- Ability to setup, operate, troubleshoot and make minor adjustments on machinery without assistance.  

- Must be self-sufficient. 

- Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling 

- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on VMC machinery 

- Provides constant feedback and input into process improvement within the department 

- Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures 

- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions 

- Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills 

- Other duties as assigned           

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- 2-4 years of CNC operation preferred

- Familiarity with computers 

- Ability to use small hand tools 

- Ability to read a tape measure
