Your Role:


Responsibility for prospecting, developing, and closing Point of Care (POC) Informatics business, both standalone and as part of a POC solutions sale opportunity, through prospecting and calls/meetings with all potential and established customers in the designated sales geography.





You Will:



• Lead sales process for prospective and qualified Informatics opportunities, both standalone and as part of a solutions sale opportunity, within the designated sales geography. This includes but is not limited to qualifying leads generated from tradeshows, Account Executives (AEs), Inside Sales and any other sales staff.


• Work in conjunction with the Key Account Executive (KAE) and associated AEs to coordinate the Informatics selling process and collaborate with the necessary Siemens Healthineers (SHS) sales teams to ensure effective selling strategies and relationships are in place and implemented.


• Function as the subject matter expert on all Informatics opportunities within the designated territory.


• Work closely with the Informatics Sales Integration Manager (SIM) to effectively drive the Informatics sales process administration through all the steps of the sales cycle.


• Work closely with the Technical Sale Informatics Engineer (TSIE) to ensure that all the technical aspects and questions that arise during a sales opportunity are answered and so providing customers with all necessary support to ensure business success.


• Meet and exceed revenue objectives by implementing and executing effective sales strategies and drives accurate revenue forecasts to achieve maximum results.


• Execute upon Sales and Marketing Strategic Imperatives established by Sales and Marketing leadership.


• Utilize strategic selling techniques to conduct a thorough needs assessment, and then effectively communicate using a solution focused presentation to demonstrate the value proposition of our POC solutions, with a focus on Informatics.


• Complete administrative tasks (including but not limited to forecasting, training modules, and reporting) are completed promptly and accurately, and control expenses


• Utilize sales tools and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and forecast accurately.


• Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements to effectively position our solutions in the market.


• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and expand network connections as required.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, marketing / product management, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful implementations.



Your Expertise:



• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field


• Proven experience selling and delivering to healthcare providers in:


• IT Experience


• Healthcare Informatics, Business Intelligence and Analytics AND either of the following :


• Clinical and Quality Operations


• Point-of-Care/Laboratory Diagnostics


• 8+ years in an information technology department or sales role, and/or 8 + years in a Quality, Administrative department, or sales role with a proven track record in successfully project managing and closing complex software sales in large and enterprise accounts.


• Proven success managing and exceeding a quota responsibility of at least $3 million in sales and ideally demonstrating success in closing complex Informatics sales opportunities e.g. clinical healthcare IT deals that exceed $10 million in booking revenue .


• Proven consultative selling success, showcasing the skills to uncover customer needs and position solutions accordingly


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce / Shareville)


• Ability to travel up to 75% of time


• Proven contract negotiation skills and experience


• Ability to motivate and inspire others to exceed their goals


• Geographically accessible to territory; must reside in assigned territory

The pay range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is $76,000.
