The successful candidate will oversee the progress of large-scale structural steel projects from birth to completion, ensuring that the project scope fits the budget and that employees are completing project phases on time.

Responsibilities:
Review and assess vendor proposals.
Manage multiple parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
Communicate progress towards production, financial, quality, and safety goals to internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiate change orders.
Oversee process improvements in projects that are likely to have few precedents and may have an enterprise-wide impact.
Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning, and manage software and hardware availability.
Requirements:
Ten years of general and five years of project management experience in the structural steel industry - commercial fabrication experience is a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Tekla Structures, Tekla EPM, and Trimble Connect software is a plus.
