Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Current and Valid Driver’s License

  • Must be available to work weekends

Preferred but not required:


  • Possesses an interest in working with adults who experience a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and their families.

We are currently seeking positive, upbeat, outgoing candidates for the position of Mental Health Assistant. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will make a difference each day helping individuals with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness or Severe Mental Illness to live full lives, by learning independent living skills and be an active and productive member of his or her family and community.  You’ll get the opportunity to help develop group curriculum and lead group activities according to the state standard. These services are provided in both agency and community settings, such as the client’s residence. The ideal candidate has a passion for behavioral health, is creative, possesses strong organizational skills and is a skilled relationship builder with an awesome interpersonal style.

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Current and Valid Driver’s License

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
    The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
