You are dependable and aren't afraid to ask questions and ask for help when needed. Most of all you enjoy being outdoors and are excited about working in an industry that offers you that opportunity.

Traverse proposed road locations and unit boundaries with a survey grade GPS unit.

If any of this is new to you, that's ok, we'll teach you everything you need to know to safely do your work.

Who you will work with:
Day-to-day you'll work with our team of foresters and engineers, who will train you on everything you need to know throughout your internship. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with other departments across the division including operations, biology, GIS, and inventory.

Where you'll work:
The Washington internship is located in Mason County along the southernmost tip of Puget Sound near the foothills of the Olympic National Forest. Our office is in the historic city of Shelton where the Green Diamond family legacy began. Housing is available for candidates from out of the area.
