ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Position Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager on day to day activities. These activities will include RFIs, submittals, Procore Management, Cost Management, Project Execution, Procurement, Estimating, Project Controls, and Scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages project budget and project forecast.
• Manages multiple projects and vendors.
• Develops and executes project execution plans.
• Develops project closeout packages.
• Oversees contractors on project sites.
• Schedules projects using MSP or P6.
• Creates project solutions with responsible engineers.
• Provides meeting minutes for internal and external teams.
• Conducts constructability reviews.
• Reads and understands all engineered drawings for construction projects.
• Completes miscellaneous Procurement activities as needed.
• Provides estimating assistance.

Education/Experience: Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or government documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the public.

Mathematical Ability: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
